Ally cropShowing the Tennessee Walking Horse is exhilarating, from small fun shows to our two major events, the Michigan Little Celebration and the Michigan State Fair. We show to judge our horses against the breed standard of the true walking gaits and to share our breeding and training techniques to maintain and improve the natural, sound, 4-beat gait of the Tennessee Walking Horse.

futurity

The purpose of the W.H.A.M. Walking Horse Futurity is to provide an excellent showing experience for members of Walking Horse Association of Michigan to promote their breeding program and show their quality foals and young walking horses.

The Futurity is a great place for you to show off your breeding stock to the world with classes for weanlings, yearlings, and two – five years old. Paybacks for all main futurity classes.

Want to help make the show year successful? There are two ways to get involved!

1. Volunteer your time to open gates, present ribbons, and more at any show.

2. Can’t make it to the shows this year but still want to support? Consider a donation to the State Fair and Futurity.
